2023 Conference -
Call for Conference Presentation Proposals

Dr. Claire Fox Hillard and the 2023 International Conductors Guild Conference Committee would like to invite you to become a potential presenter at this year's January 10-13, 2023 International Conductors Guild Conference in Valencia, Spain in collaboration with the AESDO - Asociacion de les Orquestas, and Berklee College of Music Valencia.

This year's conference will feature a wonderful conductor retrospective on the life and work of the leading Spanish conductor of the 20th Century, Maestro Jesus López-Cobos, as well as conductor masterclasses on conducting recitatives and arias with local musicians and artists, selected presentations from a Call for Conference Presentation Proposals including presentation of papers, sharing of new works previously performed by attending conductors, conversations with agents and artistic representatives, and much more.
Delegates to the conference will attend an open rehearsal and concert of the Orquesta de Valencia with Maestro Alexander Liebreich at the Palau de la Música. Liebreich is also Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and a concert of the Joven Orquesta de la FSM de La Communidad Valenciana with Maestro Cristóbal Soler, Director.

International Conductors Guild conferences provide a wonderful networking opportunity for conductors, composers, and anyone associated with the art and profession of conducting.  This is a great opportunity for Doctoral Candidates to present their papers, or those who are already published to share the knowledge and research they have created and need to share with the field.

Proposals must be submitted by Friday, September 16, 2022.  Please email materials for submission to: [email protected]

We welcome all proposals and can't wait to see you in Valencia!
